Silverado HID

Im a Noob when it comes to HID. I've always seen the way that HID makes you see 100% better and have always wanted to know how to install in my truck. I've weighed options of getting projectors or just use stock housing and getting an HID kit off of ebay. I read somewhere else in a forum (though I do not remember) that the Silverado OEM housing was fine for HID and did not produce glare. Does anyone know what I should do if I want to get HID? Please help!
